55 lbs is a good high end . I have a set of Bowflex adjustable dumbbells that go up to 52.5 lbs. But for many exercises you need two dumbbells — so really in an apples to apples comparison to most other adjustable dumbbell sets the price on these is $248. That may be a good post-Covid price — I just don't know—but I got my Bowflex set for $200 pre-Covid . On the other hand if you only need one dumbbell then this would definitely be a good deal for you.
