I bought this exact set last time for the same price in December. Great plates for someone with a home gym trying to keep their floors in tact.

One of my plates was damaged during shipping, a large chunk was torn from one of the 45's. Something that did not cross my mind is that if one plate arrives damaged you have to return the whole set and wait for a completely new set. Even though the plates are individually packaged they wont send you a single replacement plate.

Also these plates are super thick so you wont be able to load up your bar as much. If you lift heavy maybe stick to iron.

$81 cents/pound for bumper plates in 2024 is a great deal. Keep in mind, some people complain about not receiving their plates. They don't all ship at the same time and will likely come in batches.

It's funny how you can always tell a SD staff member posted something by the way it gets pushed to the top of the front page over and over and over again.

Nothing like a little manipulation to push your affiliate deal to the top! Hope selling out was worth it!

I can see how it's annoying to see the same deal pop up several times, but staff repost popular deals since some people will be seeing it for the first time. Maybe we could improve Deal Alerts so you could choose to only be notified if the price is making a new low.

When I leave Costco and pass by the tires, for some reason that smell is intoxicating to me.

When I buy new tires, I get kinda bummed out when the smell goes away.

But that's because I'm a car and fitness enthusiast. Smell association is fun. It's not the smell, it's what it represents.

Gas pumps and diesel exhaust (in small amounts) aren't half bad, either…
