I I bought two of the 260 lb sets (520lbs) and I'm overall pleased. Yes, someone will comment that the 10's are flimsy and flexible and will Taco easily and that is true. The company even states that they should not be used alone on the bar because they can break but for the price point it was still worth it to me. I bought a set of Rogue crumb bumper tens if I was going to do something with just 10 on either side ( bought them used for a good deal but if I was to get them new I would get the Fringe because they even recommend using the tens alone and dropping them). Overall they work fine and do what they're supposed to and are a great deal. I'm aware I will probably have to replace a 10 or 15 at some point due to breakage but the money saved is worth it
Having bought 210 pounds of these weights, the biggest issue is quality control. They claim to be Olympic but the opening in the center is less than 2.00 inches. The weights fit on their bars because they are less than 2.0 inches but they do not fit if you buy a higher quality bar. I spent 2 months getting the runaround from the company that has zero customer service skills and if less knowledge of their products and industry standards! They may be cheap, but that doesn't help them fit in an Olympic bar. BTW I believe these are leftover product as it appears the company is changing its name.

Some reviews state these have trouble fitting on all 2inch barbells. Anyone with recent experience on this?

In my experience they are a fairly loose fit on Rogue barbells. As a result they tend to wobble and work the collars loose when dropping from any height, such as when performing cleans. Not a huge deal but I would look into competition style bumpers if I were into training Olympic lifts. The hubs themselves have loosed up on some of my bumpers as well, though that hasn't affected usability so far.

So, I saw that these had previously been on sale for very cheap before. And was very unsure if they were too good to be true, or a must have (when on sale of course, as they are).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLZF9ZVt3uA
This youtube channel did several videos on it, and after about a year his plates busted. He was using them for cleans and stuff. His plate separated because these plates are made internally with cheaper rubber than the outside.
This is shown well in another video by another channel that cut the plate in half:
https://youtu.be/_yodFBaEDoA?si=t...gsre&t=944
He shows that the two rubbers are not bonded well at all. And his were also coming apart from the two rubber materials.
These two videos convinced me that these are just not at all worth it, if you will be dropping them.

Now, weight is weight, so if you're just powerlifting and not dropping the weight then they should be fine. Although idk why you'd want a bumper plate at all, if you aren't dropping them.

So, I don't own them. But I will not buy these.
For anyone who does have them, my only questions are if they are dropping them. And if so how are they holding up.

My weights were coming in at 1.97 and would not fit on a 2.00 Body Solid Bar. The Balance From bar was around 1.95 in diameter.

Also, why do we not see any deals from better quality brands?
https://www.fringesport.com/colle...arage-sale
Fringe is having an awesome "garage sale" as they call it. 45%-50% off olympic/powerlifting bars.
And plates are on sale too. They come out to about 2$/lb or so depending on the set you get. But, they will assuredly last more than twice as long as these plates, if you plan on dropping them.

I'm fairly new to slick deals, so maybe I should make a post about this deal. I just don't get why we never see deals at better brands for this kind of stuff. If you search bumper plates, it is only deals from cheaper brands. Now some of the cheaper brands are alright, but deals on the higher quality stuff is also worth considering.

For my money, I would get some of Fringes training plates over these, even for the extra cost. They are in KG though, my current plates are in LB's.

Really depends on what you're doing. Basic lifts, just getting started, these work fine. Fringe are obviously better but at more than double the price.

If you are training for the Olympics I dont think you would be using these plates you would go for something much higher quality, but you make these seem like they dont get the job done, plates are plates ma boi

I am sorry if you failed or didn't take geometry, but a circular hole with a diameter of 1.97 inches will NOT fit on an Olympic bar with a 2.00 inch diameter. You do know what an Olympic bar is, correct? You do know that is double the diameter of a standard bar? How do you recommend someone put something bigger than the opening through the smaller opening? It doesn't work. I guess you could always put these on a standard bars and deal with the gap…
