Good price. For those of you intending to use this drive in a laptop, some reviews find the SN750's idle power consumption is significantly higher than competing SSDs.

For PS4 Pro and One X owners that are still waiting on Series X and PS5 availability to improve, purchasing a Gen3 NVMe drive with DRAM (like this one) and using it as external storage may give a little performance boost to the last gen consoles and be used for fast external storage on the current gen consoles as well for back-compat games.

Agreed, it does when I swapped out mine to a 2x SKHynix Gold 1TB run time was 29 mins longer then with 2 of these in my Omen 15.

Not him, but seems like you guys may be confused. Current gen (ps5) needs to be on beta (have to sign up and wait to get accepted) to support aftermarket ssds.

But what if you don't have the PS5 beta key?
The lights are on... But nobody's home. So sad

The original post was about PS4, not PS5.
