Thanks for this clarification. I got into the first LIS recently but I stopped with the understanding that the remastered version was coming out soon, so I held out and stopped playing. Now I can play through without any fear that a remaster is a few weeks away.

I do agree that LiS2 had pretty dull pacing in a way I found disappointing, but also thought a lot of the character work and choice implementation was really well done. Would not consider it awful. But also didn't love it as much as the first game (which had overall much more stilted writing but also more exciting pacing throughout).

I liked LIfe is Strange.

But Tell me Why was so God awful (I have never before played a game where I hated every single character) that I am way too cautious playing anything from these guys again. I'll wait for reviews.

It's funny that reviews go live, they're positive, and the same day likely within hours this deal gets pulled. Makes it seem like this was bait to get people who were highly unlikely to buy.
