They degas for only a short period. Leave it sitting for a few weeks if you're sensitive, you shouldn't smell it. You can also slap it on top of a box fan to help.
I've had multiple memory foam mattresses and pillows over the years, since like 2004, and The smell is always gone fairly quickly.
....are you sure it isn't you ?
That happens with poor quality pillows. Mine never has done this

I tried a memory foam once and was surprised to find out its history and overall weirdness. Long story short it's a NASA developed technology but it has one major downside and the reason I stopped using it. It degasses. Meaning every time you lay on it it releases this nauseous gas that I absolutely couldn't stand. Every. Single. Time. I moved at night I smelled this horrible stench. I returned it and will never buy anything memory foam again.

I know what you mean. I've had some very weird smelling memory foam products before.
I recently gave gave it another try and bought a memory foam pillow from Target. It was pricey at $35 but I noticed right away in store that the smell was surprisingly minimal. Tried it first night and less than an hour it smelled completely fine.
I'm guessing it's the materials and that's why it was $35? I've had a memory foam "roll" for $15 and it smelled, a bit less after a some time. Had a $50 full-size liner and that one REALLY smelled and couldn't use it.
Thanks for sharing, OP. Been holding out for a deal on pillows since the last deal I got, some Tommy HIlfiger-branded ones, aren't very comfortable at all and have been giving me neck pains.

If you noticed it's smell in a store, then it had been opened and dispersing the smell already.

I've tried a lot of pillows and finally settled on this type. I have this one and 2 other brands of similar design and its been the only thing that stopped my neck pain from sleeping on pillows.

Reaped in for 2, thanks OP. I just kept adding $0.50 canned vegetables, green beans, peas, corn and some breakfast syrup until I was over the $35 free shipping limit. Split my order for shipping and in store pickup 😁.
