Are these comparable to the Edifier S2000MKiii? Better or worst? The Edifier are the only speakers I've heard. Looking for best bang for 90% music. Dance, electronica, techno genre.
Solid deal for their premiere line of speakers. I paid $266 for a pair of these used a couple of years ago. These sound great, but for me I preferred the sound of the KEF Q150s. Still wonder if I made the right decision...
If you really want an upgrade go for the KEF Q350s.
If I am using the regular speaker cable, I get a weird hissing noise when I play games? I think it's my graphics card.
So I have to resort to using a USB connection. This is fine but I had to do some USB/device manager modification otherwise the computer monitor does not go to sleep.
Lol I thought kef 950q were expensive. Just saw the price for the LS50s. Damn I feel poor!
"accessories4less" is KEF's official outlet store. I purchased my KEF LSX speakers there to use as desk speakers in combination with their KF92 subwoofer. Much cheaper on that site and still supported by KEF. Not going to lie though pocket book still hurts despite the discounted prices but they do sound great. With both speakers pointed at me listening to music it sounds like there is an actual hidden center speaker directly in front of me at the same time as I can hear clear stereo details from left to right. I think that's what sound folks refer to as soundstage but could be wrong but either way its kind of amazing.

Wow did not know this. Thanks for this. Bookmarked. Even the 950q is for 750 which is quite better than $999.

But anyone this price has been around on Adorama for a really long time and with the newer line way down in price, these don't seem super appealing.
I just bought these in Ebony to use as my rear surrounds, and they have a fantastic sound.
Highly recommend.
