This is pretty pricey. You can possibly find it cheaper at your local Asian supermarket. It was $8.99 here when I bought a box a few weeks ago.

Is this Ramen? Is it worth the price difference over the 20 cents a pack nissan or maruchan ramen i get on sale at Safeway?

I'm ignorant about any other instant noodle except lipton chicken and Ramen so if my question is dumb please forgive me.

This is fried ramen with oil and powdered flavor packets. Very tasty, not so healthy.

It's different and is eaten without broth. If I were you, I would buy a packet at an Asian grocery and try it first. (It is actually available at our local Walmart here in the Seattle area but I don't know how common that is.)

I dont know how is that possible you can get a box for $8.99?

The shipping cost itself easily $5-6.

My local asian supermarket sells it for $14 (30 packs) or 60 cents each.

Now I want to try it.

BTW, not wanting to compare cheap ramen with gourmet noodles but saying that if you soak ramen and then fry it with a bit of sliced onion and carrot (only use a quarter of flavor packet) it is a decent change up and if you eat instant ramen and haven't tried it this way I think you should.

Have a good day.

I bought this about 2 months back. Amazon of course sent something expiring about 25 days later. So you can imagine it's been disappointing that I'm trying to finish the last of these when it's been expired since August 3rd laugh out loud I wanted to eat this in moderation till the end of winter but forced to eat a few packs every week to get it out of the way and not too far from the expiration date.
Keep that in mind when you order these 30 packs on Amazon. I do like it...but eating it all the time has me almost sick of it lol

It's really good. Ramen tends to be more Japanese while this is Indonesian. Very different flavors, south east asian in nature.

Get some fried onions to add, along with a bit more sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) and it's a delight!

As others have mentioned, this is dry ramen. It is one of my favorite instant ramen of all time!

My nearby Asian supermarkets have these on sale occasionally and they cost around $9 - $10 a case. Normal price is usually around $12-$14.

They have other flavors as well, but I prefer the original flavor.
