17" is much nicer than 15 or 16, and above fhd with a high refresh rate is hard to find on a 17". Better cooling on 17" as well.
Maybe not that slick, but its still the best deal on a 3080 17" with these specs.

No it isn't, this is giant. Get him a 15.6/16" laptop or smaller. Check out legion 5 3060 for 1299$, or the Omen 15 3060

Have to agree with you. Been looking for a laptop with these specs for a while and it's the only one I can find in this price range. I pulled the trigger on it.
