The general stance on Hisense seems to be "great picture", but screw everything else.
I was actually unlucky with a U6G purchase that had terrible bleeding due to poor QC, but I could already tell that there were going to be issues outside of that given the UI.
It's unfortunate, but you tend to get what you pay for.
But the Hisense is so cheap and fire sticks can be had for 25 bucks. Smart TVs tend to suck and it's better to just use external devices anyways.
To be fair, the Android interface on my Sony works excellently and is considered a plus.
Which Sony TV do you have? I have a 49" 900F and have issues with android TV. It is a few years old so maybe the newer Sony TV's are better. A relative has Hisense H9G and they have similar android TV complaints.
