The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.
I scanned the OP's code with PayPal, then bought a $20GC at CVS. My PayPal activity says "CVS Pharmacy -$0.00", and I got $10 in my PayPal balance. Does that mean I made $10 + $20GC for free?
Just got back from CVS. Saved the offer to my Paypal and my Venmo by scanning the QR code.
I purchased two $25 Amazon GCs in separate transactions, paying for one with PayPal and one with Venmo.
If cashier is unaware of how to use this tender type, have them scan the gift cards and go to final checkout, and a payment button of "Paypal/Venmo/Alipay" will show. They will then scan your "Show to pay" QR code, and the transaction will process, with you receiving confirmation on your phone showing the full $25 amount. When it does process, then your in store receipt will print. You will then see the $20 off in your transaction history on Paypal and Venmo.
I also had a $10 off $20 offer at CVS from Paypal but there was no way to "save" that offer. I did not receive a $10 credit like others have gotten.

CVS denied to do gift cards via PayPal/Venmo, didn't realize it was possible via kiosk. Able to do 4x $20 off $20 (wife and I for both PayPal and Venmo), and got the $10 off $20 as well on PayPal.
Not bad! $113 worth of stuff (kids medications) for $13.

I only got the 10 off $20 for paypal. I don't see any other rebates from Paypal or Venmo. Bought 2 $25 amazon giftcards. I did self-checkout, Is it over?
