I don't know how many they have in stock, but Best Buy has the LG SP8YA sound bar (440 watts, 3.1.2, Dolby Atmos, wireless subwoofer, optional rear speakers, from the 2021 product line) in stock as "Open Box - Excellent". Pick-up available in some zip codes, and currently listed for shipping as well. Also includes a $50 Best Buy eGift card, effectively making it $265.

It depends on which Samsung you have. This one gets really good reviews for its sound quality, but if you're already happy with the sound from your Samsung, it may come down to the features more - like Atmos, built-in Airplay and Chromecast, etc. Or the ability to add true surround sound with the (additional cost) wireless rear speakers.
If you don't need more volume or any of those features, no reason to spend your money.
I noticed after you posted the SP9YA was also on sale. After reading some reviews, decided to get the SP8YA. If I want to go 5.1.2 I can add the additional rear channels if I feel the need. I get by with an old LG 4.1 SH7B sound bar and was looking to upgrade for some time now. Used my $200 from my LG TV purchase a year back, and hoping that the TV Sound Share Mode works well with my C9.
Also decided wanted 60% off vs. 55% (give or take if my math is good which it historically sucks).
Thanks for the heads-up. Definitely grabbed one.
EDIT - for grammer

The 8Y only had Fair/Satisfactory and I would have to drive 20miles and worried if it was missing anything important or damaged too much. So I decided that 9Y for $162 more was worth it and I don't need to drive.
Thanks OP for the post! I bought a q950a and now i'm gona return it because it doesn't seem it's worth it for over $1000 lol
I replaced it with a Samsung HW-Q700A. Despite it having a smaller subwoofer, there was so much more bass/definition to it than the LG.
Edit: Also forgot to mention that I was having issues with CEC. Sometimes it wouldn't cut the soundbar on and other times, the soundbar would cut on, but the TV would randomly switch back to the the TV speakers. Extremely annoying that LG couldn't get this working right with their flagship TV. I just the Samsung a couple of days ago, but I haven't experienced any of that yet.
Did you just ask them for the extra $50 off? I'm shopping online and I'm able to get the soundbar and the rears for $485 after tax with the rears shipping to my house and I have to pickup the soundbar about an hour away.
