Unless I am missing something, you will need a different cable. The charging plate comes with a usb-a cable, but the wall charger is usb C.

Will this charging plate support charging qi devices like my AirPods? Or do they really really mean iPhone 12 only. My experience is some of these items are still backward compatible

Disappointing that the wireless charge pads only include USB-A to USB-C (device needs C) cables, but the AC adapters need USB-C on that side too. Canceled the AC adapters and just gonna use the older anker outlets and treat these pads as my convenience option rather than aiming for quick.

Bought the charging pad a few weeks back with the intention of sticking it to my bedpost... come to find out these are not capable of supporting the weight of the 12 Pro Max vertically. Not sure it is intended to... but the magnets in the charger + mag-case thing aren't strong enough

After testing one for a while I recently bought a few more and they are now on every single bedside table in the house. What makes these charging pads so valuable is the sweet spot of magnetic alignment and visual confirmation while doing its job that there's close to zero chance you are waking up in the morning with a low battery because your device wasn't perfectly aligned. They snap in with a noticeable pull, then it lights up for a bit to confirm, but then lights turn off entirely so no light leakage overnight. The magnet is not too strong so picking your phone up doesn't pull that pad off the table. Yes, I'd have loved to see a different cable come with it, but hey, it's just a cable, swap it for something more convenient as needed. Highly recommended. Works great with all our iPhone 12 modes that are housed in simple MagSafe compatible cases.
