Legoland / Lego Land CA 2-Day SEA Life Hopper Tickets $100 per person

Was just looking for Lego land tickets. Was comparing options for the Lego Land Kids free with sea life deal which came to about $131 for 1 day for my dates. But I wanted 2 days so would have been $262 and then found the Sam's Club deal for $100 pp with fees for 2 days, $80 before fees, saving me around $60.

I was looking for dates in Nov at the CA park, YMMV for other parks and dates.

I had an old Sam's Club login from a 24hr membership I got a couple of years back. Logged in with that and was able to purchase tickets even though I'm a non-member (site shows Expired on Jan 16, 2019 and lists me as guest member).

Link shows deals for NY and FL too as well as 1 day ticket options.

I was thinking of going for my birthday this year, but hearing that (and Covid) stopped me from going.

Reddit. I was told on the LEGO Land Reddit page that they require you to have a child for "safety reasons".

Oh interesting! I haven't heard that (and can't find it on the theme park's site) but I also haven't gone to Legoland since the pandemic. I did go a few years ago, just two adults, and we had a lot of fun!

Well, I am glad to hear that I probably don't need to have a kid, and that the person on Reddit was just misinformed. It looks like a fun theme park. And, I really like Ninjago.

Would hope costco brings back the annual legoland pass for 90. If you need several passes for the family, for one of the passes get a merlin pass to get parking for free.

Usually these passes pays for itself after 3 days/visits.
Yep, I'm waiting and hoping too.

Just a heads up for those considering upgrading. We were told that our 1 day park only tickets (Legoland CA) through ticketsatwork.com are worth only $60 each towards an annual pass.

The Ninjago ride is one of the best rides in the whole park IMO.

We went to CA more than 10 days pre Covid, there were many times throughout the day I had to go back to the car in the parking lot for this or that or water park stuff, I never had a problem coming back in into the park solo with no kids.

We went to Legoland CA at the end of July and had fun with a 3.5 year old and a 6 month old. The bigger rides (roller coasters, etc.) were a little scary for 3.5 y/o, but he had fun on the smaller rides. The park is small so if you get there early you might be done early if you go through it quickly and are not doing the aquarium or water park (we didn't do either). Not much to do for baby unlike Disney where there are a lot of rides baby can ride, not the case at Legoland. You'd get bored with just adults if you're looking to ride, there are a lot of great scenes to take in though.

The hotel looks really fun! We haven't stayed but will consider it when the kids are a little older and they can do the bunk beds.

COVID-wise, we wore masks the entire time, I was also surprised how many people were actually wearing masks as well, of course there were a bunch without. Social distance isn't a thing there.

Speaking from pre-covid and all the crazy-ness, I am almost certain you DO NOT need to have a kid to get into the park, I know from experience and people who did, but of course they might have changed the policy recently. Otherwise, be warned that you might get asked or even turn away if you are going in ALONE as an adult, especially older men.

Gotta say, there's not much to do if you going in as a single adult as well, lego fanatic or not. Sure you can take selfies with the lego exhibition or even do a few rides, but spending $100 on that alone is just not worth it, rather go to Belmont Park, grab a beer, walk around, play some arcade and just chill. Legoland is nice though, I personally prefer it over Disneyland, also the food is way better.

I've only been there once and that was probably over 10 years ago. What is there to do for adults?

Went on this past Saturday. Took my 11yo son. Ninjago "dragon" ride was closed, chima water park closed, lazy river closed and another big coaster was closed. Short staffed was the claim. My 11yo was not impressed by the kiddie rides. It is definaty geared toward 5-9yo crowd.

Come on Costco, ante up and carry Legoland tickets again Frown

EDIT: For anyone who doesn't have a Sam's Club, https://www.ticketsatwork.com/tickets/ is also offering same exact prices. Check with your HR if they support tickets at work and see if you can get those prices.
