I picked one of these up last time and one of my 5 gallon tanks got cloudy since a clam died.. well was partially eaten.
It took over 24 hours to really clear the water up and I added extra (3-4 tablespoons or more) BRS carbon in a bag. Also, the flow was meh and I doubt this would handle a 20-30 gallon tank as it mentions.
I also had a heck of a time priming the darn thing, but maybe it was related to the fact that the tank was not deep enough for the full extension bar.
In addition, it is very loud even without the bio-wheel. Fine for during the day, but if it's in a bedroom the inhabitant will likely complain.

Can I use 2 of these filters in my tank ? It has two slots for filters but currently has one large one.
