No it is not, the buydig deal is for the LG 27GN880-B which is a much better monitor. The 27GN880-B is a 144Hz high refresh rate, wide color gamet 10bit monitor.

It's also the same price on Amazon.

Good option if you're looking for an IPS panel and USB-C connectivity on a budget. I believe it's been this price for a few weeks on Amazon so not sure how "slick" this deal is. It's definitely a good value at this price point though.

Anyone know if I can set the resolution to 1080p and not get artifacts?

I have 2 LG monitors that has 1080p in 27". 1440p is great for gaming, but not so much for productivity, so I prefer to set it as 1080p. However, I have a 2560x1080p ultra widescreen 29" as my third monitor and the off scale between my twp 1080p's and ultra widescreen is driving me crazy.

Why would you want to set the resolution to 1080p though? You'd lose some screen real estate by doing so. At that point, you might as well just buy a 1080p monitor for much cheaper than $300.

If you are used to 1080P… yes you van set this monitor at 1080P. It will not any more blurry than your 27"

But the warning is… this monitor is capable of double that resolution.. once you get used to 1440P you will not go back down to 1080P.

IPS color recreation is better than VA panel also.

I run two 27" ips monitors 1440P

In screen resolution setting i set the zoom to 125% for bigger font.

The dell S2721DGF is a better buy at $330 especially with the 3 year included plan. Double stack coupon

That is a better buy if you're looking for highest refresh rate possible and G-Sync… though I think on the GTX/RTX cards you can enable G-Sync on Freesync monitors now. Quadro GPUs don't support this.

Though LG makes good monitor this particular series is known to show white dots and localized uneven dimming as there are only six zones. You should go to 144hz VA or better 4k IPS. Please read description on site these are scuffed box and probably returned units.

If you remove usb-c which does not have any usb ports and have costco membership you can get VA 144 HZ or IPS 4k. Those have better rtings.
