Store just has to activate the phone on a TMobile account, even one you already have open. A new line is not necessary.

Part of this TMobile promo is an extra $100 off if you have a trade-in.

Ask for a Best Buy trade-in instead to see if possible and how much. I was supposed to get 55+100 for my S-9+ but BB gave me $300 !

Card slots are less important with higher internal storage now and the cloud.

I did a quick review of the BestBuy page, and it doesn't say anything about activating a new line. I've bought/activated a number of phones w/ BestBuy, on deals like this, so should just require activation on your account (i.e. as replacement for one of your current phones), not a new line of service.

How much RAM is this phone rockin? Its nowhere listed on bestbuys site

Activation means adding it to a new OR existing line.

Basically, if you have a line on your account, you just have this S21 as the phone being the one assigned to that phone number. You can easily move SIM around after activation if you want to give the phone to someone else on TMO

Sprint is now entirely T Mobile after acquiring the network so Yes it would.

The phone would likely work on sprint since sprint and t-mobile network is merging, but does the deal works on sprint?

Next OS update (OneUI 4) will give you option to do 1 SIM and e-SIM. (At least it does on the beta that I'm using)

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is $1000 and i think I saw a deal on slickdeals for it for $700. I just bought this one because I think it's better for the price it is but i was really tempted to get the flip mostly only for the flip part of it.

T-mobile phones (locked or unlocked) always work on Metro.

edit: hmmm if you want to buy this then no.

128GB, non expandable memory, come on Samsung, my Note 9 beats that by miles. Then they have the nerve to brag about it taking 8K video!🤣
Please Samsung, don't become Apple!
Apple fanboy troll smh....
I have this phone and I hate it for the following reasons:

888 POS - It literally does not matter what refresh rate this phone claims, as it immediately throttles after 10 seconds of use. I have distinct moments in the day where I remark "wow, that's pretty smooth" when the phone actually gets up to its 120 hz operations, every other waking moment it is stuttering like it's three generations old.

Under-screen fingerprint reader - I always use tempered glass screen protectors, and the under screen reader does not work with it. With COVID and masks, that means I am punching in a pin every time I use my phone.

Camera - I have my photos set to be at above average quality, and the pictures are very slow to acquire and often blurry. Honestly my Pixel 3A camera felt more responsive and took more reliably decent pictures.

The _only_ step up that I felt in going from my 3A to this phone was the lack of chin and forehead on the main screen, giving more screen real estate.

What does "with activation today" mean? I'm a current TMO business account holder. Can I take advantage of this?

So if I want to use it on T-mobile existing line, can I buy this? Or will it require me to open up a new line?

I was afraid of that. So many deals and I can't take advantage of it... Time to convert or do something drastic... Thanks for confirmation.
