128GB, non expandable memory, come on Samsung, my Note 9 beats that by miles. Then they have the nerve to brag about it taking 8K video!🤣
Please Samsung, don't become Apple!

I have both and the finger print scanner on the S21 is a better than the S20 and I enjoy the smaller size and the extra 2 GB RAM also helps.
Plus expandible storage, glass back with the premium feel, also the 240 htz touch repsonse on the s20 makes gaming better.

When is the S22 expected to be released?
if it's anything like S21 then it could be announced as early as January 2022

I don't know about that I don't normally await a iP anything BUT, iP13 is supposed to have satellite compatibility which would be huge in rural areas if it works well, just wait for the pricing to come out youtube reviews to come in before jumping into anything for keeps at this point. And s21 for $500 is not much to rave about.

Exactly, there's nothing special with Samsung anymore aside Samsung Dex. Somebody in that company is really bending over to be an Android clone of apple

DEX is a nice feature... I think Samsung still makes good tablets, like the Tab S7+, but I do wish they had a headphone jack. I wonder if part of the issue with the S21 series is inflation, they tried to cut down the price, with costs and manufacturing going up.

When was this $600? I'd love to get S21 Plus if they have on sale, I can't find Note 20 anymore.

I have this phone and I hate it for the following reasons:

888 POS - It literally does not matter what refresh rate this phone claims, as it immediately throttles after 10 seconds of use. I have distinct moments in the day where I remark "wow, that's pretty smooth" when the phone actually gets up to its 120 hz operations, every other waking moment it is stuttering like it's three generations old.

Under-screen fingerprint reader - I always use tempered glass screen protectors, and the under screen reader does not work with it. With COVID and masks, that means I am punching in a pin every time I use my phone.

Camera - I have my photos set to be at above average quality, and the pictures are very slow to acquire and often blurry. Honestly my Pixel 3A camera felt more responsive and took more reliably decent pictures.

The _only_ step up that I felt in going from my 3A to this phone was the lack of chin and forehead on the main screen, giving more screen real estate.
How does it compare to S22, any comments findings? I still rock Note 8 and I love it but I feel like it's running super hot sometimes, especially wireless android auto while keeping it on wireless charger, I need to get something, thinking of Note 20 not the ultra because I want flat glass, not curved, 3+ years of curved madness is enough.

The s20 has more ram then the s21. S21 has 8gb while the s20 has 12

Unfortunately, this is a chronic problem with Samsung - great cutting edge (atleast when released) hardware with a poorly implemented software side that holds back the phone. Pixel's seem to have the opposite issue.
This WAS a chronic issue. That issue hasn't existed in years

This or the Pixel 5a 5G? Hmmm
This by a mile, especially given the updates now and future trade in value.

For the better processor and screen - Samsung. For the easy to use fingerprint sensor and latest software - go pixel.

One more consideration, if you travel international frequently - go pixel for the esim capability. This will save you a lot of money when buying data on services such as Airalos.
