Red Pocket 360-Day deals are back.

3GB plan for $168

The 8GB plan is a little cheaper than last time and the 3GB plan is a bit more expensive.

1. visual voicemail stops working every few months, you have to call redpocket, they fix it in a 15 minute call, say this shouldn't happen again, and then it only works for another few months.
2. NO TETHERING on current phones! I had a moto x4 up until a few months ago and tethering worked fine. I just switched to a pixel 3a and found out that officially tethering IS NOT ALLOWED and it was just a bug with older phones that allowed it to.
Now I'm looking for a new provider when my year is up in a few months, I'll probably have to go with verizon prepaid.
att gsma redpocket does support tethering but you don't get visual voicemail for free. I took two phones on vacation to some national parks, att redpocket and verizon redpocket. the att usually reported the same signal or one bar higher, however in terms of actual data usability it was about the same, I saw somewhere that maybe att's thresholds for the bar levels are a little lower. But when it really mattered I was able to get just enough intermittent signal from verizon to get an email out whereas att was useless.
Also, att tethering apparently blocks all ports other than standard web traffic, so I had problems with some of my work apps that were fine with verizon.
Also, Red Pocket eBay plans can be applied up to 90 days after purchase... or at least that was the arrangement last year. My October 14 purchase was held and was applied on December 9th.... which from my perspective means I'm already within 90 days of my own renewal so my eyes are open for the next deal on the 20GB plan.
Last - tethering. I can't help anybody tied to or preferring the Verizon network. All I know is it's worked consistently on AT&T for years on every one of my phones.

However, if it is a different plan you purchase, then it will essentially surrender the remaining balance upon activation of the new one.
Feel free to DM us if you have any questions about your existing plan or reach out to our eBay team, and we'll gladly help you out.
I actually lost a month of service when renewing the same CDMAS plan back in July. The renewal was handled by a representative over the phone. So at least not everyone are on the same page.
You'd have to be somewhere extremely rural to actually use anything other than LTE.
I'm thinking of trying ATT coverage anyway, so if tethering stops, I'll switch to that. I don't use it often, but I do need it a couple of times a year.
Overall a great deal and a great provider. I've got 3 lines on this plan.
I've been with RP for about 2 years and I am planning on switching when my plan is up.

These are 2 strikes in my opinion and most likely I will move to another provider when it is time to renew. They did not seem too concerned about it when I told them that I won't renew.

I used red pocket for the extra coverage on a vacation early 2020 so this may not work any more. You can fix the tethering with adb commands. Start with "adb devices" then "adb shell" and "settings put global tether_dun_required 0"
I'm using a 3a xl. Kept my wife and I connected and didn't have to pay as much as normal for the data.
Alternatively to this, I have had Total Wireless for about a year on the 4 line family plan. Once or twice a year Target discounts their prepaid plans 10%, which stacks with redcard, so I get 100gb shared on 4 lines (with 5gb/line hotspot) for $85.50/month (inclusive of fees). They have a reward program that has earned me a couple of free months (referral, points for paying the bill, etc.)
Honestly, OP deal is pretty good, and that US Mobile sounds good too, but I just figured I would throw out the alternative.
