Yup, jumped on it, repped. FYI, there is a VERY similar monitor for the same price at Newegg, but it is NOT the same, the newegg model is a 75Hz non-Nitro version, model "Acer VG270U bmiipx", the OD one is model "Acer Nitro VG270U Pbmiipx". Jeez Acer, could you get any worse with your model numbers (also note that these are two of MANY similar Acer models, Acer has some weird confusion marketing strategy I think).

Link to the Newegg model that looks the same at first glance, but isn't: https://www.newegg.com/black-acer...6824011340

Here is the matching model at Newegg for $289: https://www.newegg.com/black-acer...6824011243

I bought this for work, but for the same price, and since I also game, the OD P model was the move. I couldn't find this model close to this price and in stock anywhere else, but I didn't look long so as to not risk this one going out of stock in case OD only had like 5 of them.

The Costco is also 4ms, eek
From the reviews I saw this Acer is the typical IPS 4-5ms too, 1ms advertised is with some overdrive setting that makes the display unusable in other ways (smearing I think, don't remember). I don't know that I have ever seen IPS that is true 1ms? I wouldn't expect that kind of response for a VA panel tho, aren't those and TN normally 1ms?

This one is still on sale at Costco. I got it for my Sons Gaming PC. It's pretty good overall.

I would say that OP's posted monitor is still better as people have suggested. $219 vs $238, IPS vs VA, 1ms vs 4ms, non curved vs curved (personal preference). Thank you for sharing an alternative though.

I got that too. Would the Costco version be better? Also plus that it's from Costco if I start getting any dead or stuck pixels.

I have an Acer v277U w/ 75hz for a few years for use with work and some gaming, which is still kicking. Hopefully, these will be as reliable and for sure better.

In for 3! They will be going into a racing sim rig.

I got it for that exact reason. Costco returns, plus my son wanted a curved monitor. He doesn't really notice the 1ms vs 4ms debate.

I read the description on the website. I think it's a mistake or something. Looks like is VA panel. Check the contrast numbers.

It is just marketing, Nitro is Acer's budget gaming line (where Predator is their higher end gaming line).

Note according to a review I just watched, while not on the official list, this monitor also supports G-Sync (not sure of the refresh range though): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk95cHtAGZQ

EDIT: I guess Nitro does include some gaming features that non-Nitro wouldn't, like aim crosshairs, etc.
yes, i think most of the amd freesync monitors are working with g-sync since they released the driver modifier 2 years ago.
