Why does the title say "select customers"? This is the standard feature for everyone with these cards. Rotating categories.
these days you can buy any gift card to anywhere or even a visa prepaid credit card which you can use anywhere. But for 5% I don't know if it's totally worth it for many things. You lose all the credit card benefits like extended warranty, the ability to chargeback. (And if you're me then you might lose the cards)
i mean if that works then technically you can buy gift cards to anywhere and get 5% off.

The real beauty with this card is the 5% comes in the form of Chase Ultimate Rewards points which are almost a universal currency for quite a few different air miles programs. You can book some really sweet Premium Cabin plane tickets using those points. And to get them from a $0 fee card, at 5x is pretty epic. I'm pairing this with my Chase Freedom, Chase Sapphire, and Chase United Card.
Been trying to get them to fix it thru the Message Center
9 days to go...
Just got off the phone with live PayPal agent. Was told, it's a known technical issue and PayPal engineers are working on it. No timeline when it gets fixed though. Per representative, I'll be notified via email when the function is back to business.

I bet it's some algorithm thing. Thanks for looking into it.
Maybe if enough of us bug Paypal, they will bump it up the priority list

I use prepaid visa to pay my electric bill $500 at a time.
Do the Freedom CC Benefits remain intact when using Paypal Key?
Like the extended warranty for instance. If you use Paypal Key, tied to your Freedom CC for funding, do your purchases still qualify for protections via the Freedom card etc.?
Yes I have bought gift cards from Walmart using CC multiple times.
Do note all Gift cards have an activation fee of $5-$7. In my experience GC sold at Walmart have the lowest activation fee as compared to other places (Target, CVS etc)

My electric company says there is no additional fee if I set up automatic payment, but I am not sure a prepaid VISA card is allowed.
