Someone posted on another website that it stacks.
You get 7% total.
The bigger question is if it also stacks with the Top Spend Offer : https://creditcards.cha
to give you 11% or does Chase switch out the drugstores for the Top Spend.
We will know after Dec 31, 2021
.
When you activate this quarter, you'll earn 5% total cash back (4% in addition to your unlimited 1% cash back) on up to $1,500 in the eligible rewards category where you spend the most from Oct. 1–Dec. 31, 2021.3 If you use PayPal, a Q4 bonus category, as a payment method for purchases in your top spend category, you will earn a total of 9%.
See FAQ for details.

There is another 5% offer that is out which stacks with the Paypal and that can be 9% if Paypal is used at drugstores.
This offer is Freedom Flex only.
I read about it earlier elsewhere and received the email today.
If I use PayPal, a Q4 quarterly bonus category, as a payment method for purchases in my top spend category, can I earn both offers?
Yes, however please note since both your top spend category and quarterly bonus category offers are earned as 4% bonus cash back on top of the 1% cash back you earn on every purchase, and the 1% can only be earned once per purchase, the most you will earn per $1 spent is 9% cash back:
1% base earn on every purchase
4% bonus earn on quarterly bonus categories
+ 4% bonus earn on top spend category
9% total cash back

If someone wants to earn free Cashback then they can buy stuff into any of these categories and return it. Chase will deduct points based on 1% only, netting you anything extra that u earned for that transaction. I noticed that for my transactions in groceries and others.

Thanks of the clarification.
Since this stacks with other offers like the 2% dining/drugstore purchases - even though you're paying with PayPal - it suggests that it might even stack with Chase Offers, which give a % or $ back for paying with your Chase card... as long as you can pay using PayPal at that shop.
For example, I currently have a Chase Offer for 10% back at CVS. Since I can pay using my PayPal QR code at CVS, I could theoretically get 1% (base offer) + 2% (drugstores) + 4% (PayPal) + another 10% back via the Chase Offer. That would be pretty phenomenal!
Corner Bakery was thru online order with curb side pickup. Just enter the PayPal key as MC online order

In essence, you are double-dipping.
Kind of defeats the point of a virtual card number but whatever. At least I know now, won't be able to use it until this promo is over probably.
