Log into your amex account and go to the offer tab on the bottom if on mobile device and scroll down past half way to see happy cards offer and clip it. I just did and save that offer and on my way to buy $100 😁.

It worked for me in the past and work for me a couple days ago. Make sure you don't go to More Cards section

I don't know why, but I've always been leary of this Happy series of gift cards. Has anyone had any issues with them? It's odd, I usually throw caution to the wind to save 15%, but this has always given me pause.

that's correct. if you redeem it once and you get $15, you will not get a second crack at the offer even if it somehow appears on the added-to-card list. it's a one-time offer. however, when a different offers (with identical terms) comes along, you are free to add it and trigger it just fine. the happy offer shows up maybe twice a year and like other amex offers that appears to be recurring, i have been able to trigger each of them. has your experience been otherwise?

When they first came out they were somewhat buggy, as the B&M locations were loaded manually, meaning you could have run into a situation where a store was missed and the card wouldn't work, but that was only a real problem a few years ago.

The best situation is getting a "Run as Credit" happy card that is accepted some place that also sells 3rd party GC like Lowes. Easy way to get $15 off $100 GC of your choice.

Good deal for those shopping the listed stores. But I miss the days when they used to send physical GCs....those worked like normal CCs at Lowes and was able to buy other gcs like amazon or ebay no issue. The e-GCs wont allow that last i tried.
