Good carbide bits shouldn't be this cheap for a set.

They are pretty good in my experience. I am not a commercial user but have worked very well for all my home/hobby needs.

If you don't have the receipt but paid with a credit card, they can still look up the transaction with your card and return the items. The only time that might not work is if the cashier had to manually enter the UPC at the time of purchase because it wouldn't scan - then the transaction can still be looked by searching a date range with your credit card in a main computer at customer service. If you purchased it there, they definitely have a record of it - it's just a matter of finding an employee who knows how to look up the transaction.

These are high carbon steel. Does that mean they are weaker than carbide bits? I ask because you can find carbide bits for around the same price on Amazon.

Yea they're meant for normal drills. Cut super clean holes, great for cabinet hinges.

I don't use Forstner bits often but I've got 2 sets. The last set I bought seems to be metric. it doesn't fit any dowels I can find in the USA (imperial). I bought this set because it fits the dimensions I use most often.
