I miss the yearly Target/Amazon/Bestbuy latest iPad generation at $249.99 during Black Friday. They never did it last year. They did it every year going back as far as I can remember. All good things come to an end I suppose. Darn.

I did get similar offer ($50) but i didn't use it. i am not looking to change direct deposit. you can use it for anything, right? use your cash debit card on walmart for grocery or something. and i am guessing gift card shall also work ..

my 32gb iPad 8 has trade in value of $240 at Apple store. So on education price $309-240=$69 before tax out of pocket. My current iPad has only 5g storage free and this is a very nice upgrade with a small price to pay.

The reason they can be sold for that is because Apple inches their way forward, in regards to features they offer. 64gb of storage/however little RAM this has, is a joke and has been for the past 5+ years. Only reason any apps perform half way okay, is because there aren't a 100+ hardware configurations like on Android or versions of android.

Thanks. I was just looking at the spec pages, I didn't think about trying to go thru the ordering process.

Not sure why they are going with usb-c charger. I'm assuming since they have switched all the other ipads over that it is just cheaper to produce instead of just producing for 1 ipad. I'm sure next year they will add usb-c to this model. They had to save something to impress the crowd with next year!

What am I missing... why is a 10.2" iPad $299 and an 8.3" iPad Mini $459? Other than the 12MP main camera on the mini vs 8MP on the 10.2", the specs seem the same (other than dimensions).
