Agree, I wouldn't take a chance on a 65 "used" OLED. If it has issues after 90 days, you basically just threw money away. Hard Pass.
Yeah, certainly risks involved buying this new or used. It's currently a $1k discount and you get 3 months vs 12 months of warranty. You can add a 4 year, repair/replacement warranty at check-out for only $150 with zero deductible to this which would be $1,400 all in.. which isn't bad.
Yeah no VRR and according to Rting, only 1080p120hz support. Everything else is 60 hz input though the screen is native 120hz. I'm out. Need 120Hz at least at 1440p or better at 4K with VRR support.
If I'm not a gamer and I'm only using the tv for streaming and cable does any of what you said matter?

It's 2 days from when it's shipped. You live far from a fulfillment center. It's actually cheaper for Amazon to ship and item to a closer center then ship it stright from Cali or the closest TV to you. If I had to guess it has to ship from somewhere to the NJ location then to you.
I lived in NY by a center and most shipments made it to me in under 13 hours if it was an item in the center if not about 1-2 days never more. Just moved and it takes 3-4 days for everything...kind of a hard adjustment.
Yes all Prime is supposed to be shipped by 2 day but every single package Amazon ships to me on Prime is shipped ONLY by UPS GROUND and never by 2- day. Sometimes packages ship the next day and sometimes they won't ship for 4 days — but when they ship they ONLY ship by 5 to 7 day UPS Ground . So for me in southern MA — part of the contiguous 48 states- Prime always means 8 to 11 day shipping — it has nothing to do with when the item ships .
secondipity is known for Sony refurbs. I would probably try it if I hadn't picked up the $1500 c1 deal recently.
Ok, so I'm going to have to look into this website. Anybody here have direct experience with it?
I'm fairly internet brave when protected by the power of the almighty chargeback but some of these prices are approaching too good to be true levels for current models.
I'd really like to buy the Sony X90J I've been eyeballing for my wife and her living room. I'm currently waiting to see what Black Friday looks like, but if I can pick one up a couple months early because it has a ding somewhere not screen related, I'm highly tempted.
Same here. It has been sitting at the ceva sorting facility like 5 miles from my house in Florida for 3 days. I don't understand how shipping works sometimes. Still, I'm excited to check this thing out tomorrow
I called ceva today and they had the wrong phone number on file so they weren't able to call and schedule a drop off time. It is now scheduled for Wednesday afternoon since they are backed up. Very frustrating

Mine should be coming in tomorrow.
Please give an update when you receive the TV. I was hesitant on pulling the trigger on this due it being from a third party Amazon seller: Secondipity.

I got my order in today. The box that it came in was not the best looking box. Not sure if it's the original box but it was a A8H box.
Now the TV.
Condition looking at it 9/10. Some dust on the back, nothing crazy. I went into the TVs diagnostic settings to see how many hours it was used for and it turned out to be completely brand new. Zero hours used and only turned on 5 times. (Most likely my doing)
The controller that it came with seems to be the one that the A8H models come with. That did not look new. A little smudge on it and a scratch on the side.
My only complaint would be the box that it came in was dirty and in poor shape, a tiny bit of dust on the back of the TV and the controller not being new.
