Make sure you keep a screenshot of your order summary where it mentions the gc. Knowing comcast you won't get anything and the horrible CS will ask you to cancel your service.

I've gotten multiple gift cards from XM without issue in deals like this. Last year the two I got with the iPhone 12 Pros came in like a month. It used to be 12-16 weeks and took every bit of that. Even though this isn't a significant upgrade for me, it's really tempting.

Nope. If you're a new customer and porting in - you get it as "bill credits over 24 months". If you terminate early, you lose the discount over the remaining period ($15 per month x number of months remaining); you'll effectively be paying full price less the number of months that you actually got the $15/mth discount.

If you are a new customer and want to get the GC instead of bill credits

1) Port in as a new customer with your existing phone (BYOD)
2) After line ported in, ask for upgrade; you pay the full price ($729 for the iPhone 13 mini and so on).
3) Anywhere between 4 - 12 weeks after, you'll get a $300 gift card.
4) After 60 days service and paying at least one billing cycle - you can request unlock of the iphone.
5) After unlocking + getting the GC : you can cancel service or continue as you wish.

New customers:
1. Buy new iPhone for $300 off (approx $30/month for the $1000 iPhone)
2. Activate cheapest $15/month plan
3. Pay it off in full
4. Cancel XM service

...

Does that sound right?

BYOD will add 25 USD offer to cart if that gets added , you will not be able to get 300 usd offer since their system accepts only one offer for the device . Learned it hard way .( But while ordering iPhone upgrade the line would show 300 usd gift card in the cart but still you won't be eligible)

Anyone with Xfinity Rewards (I am at platinum level) try to use their $100 reward for buying a new phone along with this offer? I talked to 5 xfinity customer service reps and I was lucky if they knew what Xfinity rewards was. I guess they have not been trained on it yet . For those who do not know, it is a program they launched last month and the longer you have been a customer, the higher the level you were given and the better the promotional rewards.
Thanks for the valued reminder. They did gave me an offer for few bucks on purchase of a device apart from the gift card.
I believe you are referring to same. Will try cust. service to include that on payment

Step4 you would be paying 2 months of service right? Not 1

I think this is what the original poster meant. It seems like you interpreted the instructions as steps 1 and 3 to occur at the same time.

I'm trying to do the math and I don't think it makes sense unless you're paying more for service elsewhere. I pay $50 for two lines w Visible where Xfinity charges 80 for the same. 24 month agreement w a $30 difference is $720 so I'm paying $120 more over two years than if I just paid full price for the phone w current service.

I've had Xfinity and now have Visible and they are really pretty much identical in my area.
It depends on what type of plan you want. My family is either at home or I'm at the office. There's WiFi everywhere (especially with the Xfinity hotspots) I go. We have the 3GB shared data on Xfinity and the bill is $30 per month for me and my wife. Some months we go over and get charged $45-60 per month, we've never come close to approaching the 10GB limit for $60 (the neat thing about XM is that you can change plans right until the statement close day).

If you don't need unlimited data, I haven't found a better deal than Xfinity Mobile. Also, this $300 rebate is fantastic if you have a newish iPhone. If you have a 12 series phone, you can sell on Swappa or eBay and your out of pocket cost for a 13 series will be free (you may even make a profit).

*Edited for accuracy*

New customers who don't want bill credits:
1. Port your number in to XM and BYOD
2. Wait until service is activated
3. Upgrade to the new iPhone at full price
4. Pay it off in full
5. Wait 4-6 weeks for my $300 GC
6. Cancel XM (or continue) service

Existing customers:
1. Using my existing XM line, buy the iPhone at full price
2. Pay it off in full
3. Wait 4-6 weeks for my $300 GC
4. Cancel XM (or continue) service

Does that sound right?
You're still missing nkrishnasg's step 4. From reading other posters' comments, this applies to existing customer, too.

Do you happen to know the time restriction on the 2 offers not conflicting? Did the BYOD (iPhone 11) w/ $50 GC in July 2020 and upgraded today to iPhone 13. Thx.

The gift card is only for when you port. How do you get $300 for an upgrade?

Edit: Just checked and it looks like $300 is also for upgrade
