Make sure you keep a screenshot of your order summary where it mentions the gc. Knowing comcast you won't get anything and the horrible CS will ask you to cancel your service.

I've gotten multiple gift cards from XM without issue in deals like this. Last year the two I got with the iPhone 12 Pros came in like a month. It used to be 12-16 weeks and took every bit of that. Even though this isn't a significant upgrade for me, it's really tempting.

Nope. If you're a new customer and porting in - you get it as "bill credits over 24 months". If you terminate early, you lose the discount over the remaining period ($15 per month x number of months remaining); you'll effectively be paying full price less the number of months that you actually got the $15/mth discount.

If you are a new customer and want to get the GC instead of bill credits

1) Port in as a new customer with your existing phone (BYOD)
2) After line ported in, ask for upgrade; you pay the full price ($729 for the iPhone 13 mini and so on).
3) Anywhere between 4 - 12 weeks after, you'll get a $300 gift card.
4) After 60 days service and paying at least one billing cycle - you can request unlock of the iphone.
5) After unlocking + getting the GC : you can cancel service or continue as you wish.

still nobody answering me on the easiest way to sell my used iphone 12 for $530, since the apple site says it's worth that. (or maybe they just mean higher capacity models than the 64gb?). If I could really sell it for even CLSOE to $530 this deal would obviously make sense.

Also does it require a number transfer or you can get a new number?

edit: ok it says an EXISTING line for EXISTING customers can be used and you only have to stay 14 days. I thought people said you had to for 60?

Also my CURRENT line has to stay with them for 90 days, i think. So can I even do this deal while my line is tied to that other deal?

ok looking at sites that buy used phones, the "real" value for my prisine iphone 12 is around $480. But it would be worth it to go from the 12 to 13 for $20 as an existing customer.

Why they are even allowing that if you only stay 14 days beats me. but like i said, I am in the middle of staying x days now (with a fuly paid for device I got elsewhere). So do I forfeit the $25 or $50 byod gc for THAT device if I switch that existing line to a 13?

One other thing... anyone know if buying a phone from xfinity would trigger cash back on credit cards that give extra cash back for cell bills?

Instill think it's weird that for existing customers you only have to stay wit them 15 days... but for new ones you have to stay 24 months.

Bring Your Own Phone: Limited to select eligible phones. Bring your own phone and prepaid card offer each require activation of a new Xfinity Mobile line. $25 Prepaid Card: Offer ends 10/1/2021. Requires transfer of phone number from another carrier within 30 days of line activation.

Here is the T&C of BYOD. So to avoid the 25GC, I think it is possible to add a new line WITHOUT PORT IN so the BYOD coupon will not be affected. Then we can try to upgrade the line to qualify for the iPhone deal. Any ideas about it? Since the phone will be unlocked after 2 mo, it is a low-risk way to make a new number.
Is there a way to get an Xfinity mobile sim card without having an iphone, galaxy or pixel? When trying to BYOD o my these options are possible but I just would like to get the sin card and activate it before upgrading to iphone 13

BYOD will add 25 USD offer to cart if that gets added , you will not be able to get 300 usd offer since their system accepts only one offer for the device . Learned it hard way .( But while ordering iPhone upgrade the line would show 300 usd gift card in the cart but still you won't be eligible)
You tried it last year and it didn't work? Is that what you mean?

Just a warning that last year when they had the deal I went into the Xfinity store and they didn't have the pro version of the new iphone and never got it in store until months after the gift card promotion was over. There is also no way to call stores and check on their inventory.

The reason why buying it in store is important for some because otherwise they will only ship it to the address on file on you xfinity account. Also, if you buy it in a store in a state with no sales tax, you can save $70+.

You need a valid IMEI to pass the check, no matter what phone it is, there is no way to avoid

I bought 2x iPhone 11, black for me/ purple for the wife.
$200 each after gift card is almost equal to an AirPods Pro.

I'm trying to do the math and I don't think it makes sense unless you're paying more for service elsewhere. I pay $50 for two lines w Visible where Xfinity charges 80 for the same. 24 month agreement w a $30 difference is $720 so I'm paying $120 more over two years than if I just paid full price for the phone w current service.

I've had Xfinity and now have Visible and they are really pretty much identical in my area.
It depends on how much data you use. I'm always around WiFi so I have 3 lines on with the 3gb plan and it's only $30 a month.

I assume you got the 64 GB? I was really hoping they would stock the 128 GB but seems like they discontinued carrying it awhile back. Has anyone who has looked at the xfinity site seen the 128 in the last few months or can confirm its only the 64 now?

How is Xfinity reception compare to Verizon?
Xfinity is piggybacking on Verizon network. Essentially the same coverage as Verizon but cheaper

So this $300 gift card deal for existing customers will work on the SE making it basically $100? Am I reading that correctly?

Trying to figure out what the sweet spot in the iphone line up is. Current android user thinking about making the jump.

Unlike your experience, I upgraded my device with Xfinity three times and every time I didn't receive the gift card after three months. I had to contact their customer service every time, and they "reissued" the gift cards.

US Bank Cash Plus Visa includes Xfinity mobile in the "cellphone provider" category for 5% cash back; also includes Comcast for the "internet / TV" provider category

https://cashplus.usbank.com/merchants

IDK if the outright purchase would be seen as "cell bill"; but the 24 month instalments should qualify

Most of the other cards that give extra cash back for cell bills appear to be business cards (Ink business etc.) or targeted offers (Chase for AT&T); IDK if there's any other personal rewards card that has extra cash back for cell bills.
