Well so far it looks like I got both the xfinity rewards reward and the 300GC:
I have just ordered an iPhone where can you track the gift card? It does not appear on my billing/order but I did see it on the review page before placing the order (and did a screenshot)

How long did it take for your $300 GC to show up on the rewards site? I assume it didn't show up until the phone was activated correct? My iphone is supposed to show up tomorrow.

Thanks,

Had to turn off data on phone and yet still got used. Made no sense when I called to complain. Just gave me oh well speech.
I can confirm this. Unless you want to stay with their unlimited plan, don't do xfinify. Visible might be a better option for $25.

We have three lines sharing By The Gig plan and pay less then $18 per month total. If you are careful on how you use mobile data these are great plans.

I've heard xfinity is pretty low priority as far as getting iPhone stock... anyone either miss their estimated delivery date or had it come earlier?

My iPhone 13 pro max is shipping out today and will be here on the 6th of October. Ordered on September 28 and was expecting it to be here on October 16th. Basically , 10 days early for me.

Very nice! Did you get the gold color? That one seemed to have the earliest estimated delivery.
I was really thinking about getting gold but wound up switching up to the SB... thats likely going to bite me in the ass given how many others probably bought the SB as well.

How many days it will take for the xfinity reward (not the $300GC) to show up?
Thanks!

Man! I prob want to buy the upcoming Pixel 6, but this is a great deal! Wonder if a similar deal on both phones will happen around black Friday?
I'd also be interested in any Pixel deals. Too bad I don't see any Pixels available on Xfinity right now. Has Xfinity cut ties with the Google Pixel line?

If these generous ($300) Xfinity mobile promotions are commonplace AND Xfinity will carry the Pixel going forward, I'd consider upgrading to a newer Pixel myself and letting my daughters inherit our perfectly functional Pixel 3a's. That way we stay in the Pixel ecosystem which I like so much (Android, free google photos, etc).

If not, I have a conundrum to run past you smart people:
  • I'm a current Xfinity mobile customer. 5 lines active. Customer service says I qualify for 2 more. We pay $12/gig. We are relatively long-time Xfinity mobile customers (> 2 years).
  • I want to add my younger daughters as the 6th and 7th lines. They don't currently have any cell phone plan. Hence, they don't qualify for the $300 discount if I add them directly to my plan.
  • My wife and I each have Pixel 3a's that we are perfectly content with. BYOD. Paid in full. We'd prefer to keep them. However, both of us are eligible for the $300 iphone discount.
  • Therefore, it seems that the only way to get the iPhone promotion for my daughters is to do the following:
    • "Upgrade" my wife's and my Pixel 3a's to an iphone. Pay in full. Get $300 prepaid Visa in the mail.
    • Activate the iPhone with new numbers and give the phones to my daughters.
    • Presumably, the above step will disactivate our Pixels from Xfinity.
    • We then request to add two new lines via BYOD and reactivate them on Xfinity's network. I couldn't care less about retaining the existing phone numbers. Nor would I care about being phone-less for a week while the sim card is in the mail.
Does the above sound plausible? It seems like a pain in the rear, but I can't figure out a better way of having my daughters qualify for the $300 discount without these shenanigans.

If anyone can help me avoid the stupidity of the above scenario, that would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!!!

Sprint customer about to see his LG G8 gimped by the merger with TMo and am looking for a new service. The XM service has really competitive pricing, Verizon's network, BUT, XM gimps mobile data after 20GB and limits video streaming to 480...wtf?

4th sub point: I think you should be able to simply call in support that you are gonna use the pixel 3a device and that you have say 'gifted' the iphone to your daughter.

I have done something similar (maybe)
On my Verizon prepaid (unlocked) iphone I took the Xfinity line and later upgraded it to new iphone 13 for this $300 gc… waiting to receive the iphone 13 and ever since have been using the xfinity line on a Samsung device, it works, just on xfinity website says you are using your sim on an un-recognized device and shows my verizon iphone as default and expected phone

My unlocked IPhone XR that I bought from Xfinity two years ago does not recognize ATT sim. It looks like their unlocked iPhones only work on the Verizon wireless network. The resale value of their phones are reduced a lot due to the limitation to Verizon network only.

That's bullshit. You have no clue what you are talking about.
