yeah not sure there will be that many deals with the upcoming Black Friday. with supply shortages everywhere and high demand, haven't seen too many deals in the past year.

Same price at Lowes with free store pickup:

https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-1...et/1240391

The Lowes product image still shows full black oxide coating, not sure if that's still the case for actual product.

Meh. Good if you need it, but there will be better deals with black Friday coming up if you're just buying it to have.

Good for the light duty use. Don't expect any long life or durability. For $8 that's a fair price for what it is, good find OP

Which ones do you recommend for better durability? My drill bits always break, so apparently I haven't bought the right ones in the past.

Break? Are you using too much pressure on them? Or just buying super cheap low quality?

Yeah, mainly the thin, small bits in my sets have broken. Don't think I put too much pressure on them. But I likely just bought something that was cheap or a store brand -- i.e., Stanley or Masterforce.

Looks like DeWalt's black oxide bits came out pretty good (in top two) on this test of different brands of drill bits: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgQeSrsAXgE

Won't you ummmm, spend more in gas and time driving to a B&M store and waiting in return line/returning the item than the $8 is worth…?
