Being a fan of both games, I'd say dicey dungeon is a lighter version of Slay the spire. The is a bit more story but less in depth mechanics. Runs can take 15-30mins in dicey dungeon while it runs in slay the spire take about 45mins-1hr. I highly recommend this game at this price. It serves as a great game to pick up and drop anytime you like.

Fun game on PC. This price seems about right and the soundtrack is quite good as well. This is a simple, deck builder with dice mechanics. Runs can be short but later episodes get tougher and take more time.

Great game, if you like this you should also check out Poker Quest on Steam. Very very similar but in my opinion a better game.

I really loved Dicey Dungeons on Steam. It's probably too casual for serious gamers but for someone like me you can do a run in 15-20 minutes and not have it take up an entire evening. It's also pretty cerebral in later levels - you need to have some good sense of probabilities to figure out the right strategy to take.

For $5 I'll take the chance. Still playing StS right now, but this will be good for quicker games.

Just bought it and played around 2 hours of it. Very fun game. Not as good as Slay the spire, but still a good game on its own. It's like a slay the spire lite with more rng.

The RNG is brutal in Dicey Dungeons later in the game. I have done run after run where I feel there was nothing I could do better and can't beat it until I get a lucky run.

It's more casual than StS but if you like one you'll probably like the other. And they're quite different despite being similar. So it feels a bit more fun if you want more variety.

This game is one of the few I didn't hesitate to buy, at full price, for different platforms so I could play it more.

I loved this game, and it was easy enough to play and learn for my kids. I second Poker Quest on steam, a great game that I hope they put on Switch.
