For some, paying less now and in total, plus not worrying about the credits, is worth it.
Random T-Mobile numbers are getting this error message after entering phone number and SSN. "We're sorry, there was an issue processing your request. Please try again later." This is also happening on Apple's websites to those same numbers having the issues. T-Mobile is trying to fix the issue, but does not have an ETA.
So did some math and realized it's not really any great deal. (Good deal so far but you find better deals later if you are no in a hurry).

Im upgrading / trading my iphone 11 pro max .
Pre-ordered yesterday 09/23/2021 around 10 AM.
got a text an email this morning saying its ready to pick up.( was kinda surprised about this , but ig because this best buy has less people preordered , or got more stock , im in missouri)
I backed up my old phone to my computer . and reset the phone.
Got to best buy( I was one of the first 3 people there so i got help right away) , the guy asked me for my order number and name, then told me to get with a lady.
the entire pick up was about 15 mins, she asked for my id , then my old phone, she spent most of the time input stuff into the system. I confirmed on the machine my info is correct. she handed me the new iphone new in box with a sim card on top. I asked if she need to activate the phone or anything and she said no , when i put in the phone it should activate it self. got the phone and the receipt , now im heading home.
She didnt open the new phone box at all , she didnt ask if I need to transfer my old phone data to the new phone ( might be she noticed my old phone got reset)
Only do it if you have a iPhone 8 or below.
Not worth $700/800 after all the hassle that you have to go through.

Does BB check your iphone serial number, IMEI/MEID..etc that must match the Iphone on the account when you input in BB website? Because , I will use my Mom Iphone to trade in when picking up the new iphone with the same model, same capacity, it is just different color and serial number, IMEI/MEID.
Also, my screen was replacedd a year ago ( and it looks good now). Will it value be reduced? and is BB able to detect it's replacement?

Luckily, the rep processed a new order with my 12 pro which received $800 trade in.
I knew the red SE was a long shot. I think only one person managed to do it successfully since the manager approved it because T-Mobile had issues

Basically they're putting iPhone 13s on sale for $100 off and then adding $100 to your trade in value. This additional value is already calculated into the trade in price when you pick your trade in phone. For example normally an iPhone XS would trade in for $220 but for this deal it's $320.
Honestly it's not a great deal unless you have T-Mobile or an iPhone 12. ATT and Verizon are both offering way more for older models.
