Random T-Mobile numbers are getting this error message after entering phone number and SSN. "We're sorry, there was an issue processing your request. Please try again later." This is also happening on Apple's websites to those same numbers having the issues. T-Mobile is trying to fix the issue, but does not have an ETA.
So did some math and realized it's not really any great deal. (Good deal so far but you find better deals later if you are no in a hurry).

Im upgrading / trading my iphone 11 pro max .
Pre-ordered yesterday 09/23/2021 around 10 AM.
got a text an email this morning saying its ready to pick up.( was kinda surprised about this , but ig because this best buy has less people preordered , or got more stock , im in missouri)
I backed up my old phone to my computer . and reset the phone.
Got to best buy( I was one of the first 3 people there so i got help right away) , the guy asked me for my order number and name, then told me to get with a lady.
the entire pick up was about 15 mins, she asked for my id , then my old phone, she spent most of the time input stuff into the system. I confirmed on the machine my info is correct. she handed me the new iphone new in box with a sim card on top. I asked if she need to activate the phone or anything and she said no , when i put in the phone it should activate it self. got the phone and the receipt , now im heading home.
She didnt open the new phone box at all , she didnt ask if I need to transfer my old phone data to the new phone ( might be she noticed my old phone got reset)
Only do it if you have a iPhone 8 or below.
Not worth $700/800 after all the hassle that you have to go through.

I did 3 of those trade ins from the Mother's Day deal and the upgrade to the 13 is $85 with tax.

I'm not leaving tmobile anytime soon so I don't mind.
I am on the T-Mobile old Simple Choice Family plan with 8 lines. I did not want any changes to the plan or monthly cost. I wanted to pay the phone off in full and upgrade 1 line. I am going from the iPhone 10R to iPhone 13 Mini.
1) Order online (must order online for T-Mobile and Best Buy must have it in stock), select phone (iPhone 13 Mini ($699.99 - $100 (savings) - $315 (trade-in) = $284.99 + tax), T-Mobile Upgrade option, trade-in existing device options, follow prompts, in-store pickup, payment and confirm order.
2) ~15-20min later, they picked up the device and logged the trade-in (look at the device condition, no flashlight water check, driver license needed, IMEI logged, etc.)
3) Unboxed the iPhone 13 and he inserted the new T-Mobile 5G SIM card (cannot use old one anymore - it doesn't work). Phone turned on, but for T-Mobile you have to call Best Buy Phone Activations (they will call T-Mobile and activate on your behalf, but you need the primary acct holder (Acct PIN, last 4 of SSN/OTP via text message). This process took a little long because T-Mobile customer service back-up.
This is AMAZING, happy hunting for the one you want!!
