How would they verify the price though since the item on the website is priced at $179.99? They would believe if I say friend got it for 53.99$?
They (devices) will ring for 53.99$ at the register. Please make sure to check in brickseek that 53.99$ is the price at that particular store.
Give it a try. Brickseek and Target were showing OOS but they still had them when I went to purchase. Ask them to check in the back and if it's relevant send in your wife or girlfriend. Strange but it works like the above โ๏ธ post. ๐

I went to check a target about 20 miles away because both the target site and brickseeker said it was in stock. Got there and the guy couldn't find it, even after checking the back for 15 minutes. Someone must have snagged it right before I got there because it was OOS later in the evening. Sold out everywhere in a 50 mile radius from NYC
What is ring 5?
I was able to get one at $89.99 at a local store and saw that the price dropped to $53.99 but all my local stores that have it listed at that price are OOS.
Will any of the Target location selling for $53.99 let me do a return and rebuy for the lower price at the customer service desk? Has anyone here done that? And what do you say to them exactly? I'm assuming you'll lower your chances talking about Brickseek so do you tell them you "heard" the price dropped? Lol
