I am guessing you mean Dolby vision as Dolby digital is sound.
I hope you know 12" diagonal increase is like 750 sq inch more.
Lol. A store showroom is the worst place to judge a tv.
You can't get a better image than oled.
Oleds always win in head to head comparisons by "pros".
I have two oleds. Zero burn in. Look at Rtings burn in tests. You have to abuse these tv's to get burn in.

Very nice. Closer to the $2,500 price point I'm set on. But this is a solid price.

That's a matter of opinion on which is better the LG or the Sony. It depends on what your needs are and what you're going to be watching on the TV. Here's a comparison video by HDTVtest. https://youtu.be/t1K4KN-HIn0 Also check, www.rtings.com

The Sony's image is extremely close to being professionally calibrated (accurate) right out of the box. A professional calibration is around $200-$300.
If you use the tv speakers, the Sony is reported to sound better.
The Sony also has the latest OTA TV tuner technology.

The LG has the latest gaming features.
Whether you would notice the difference is subjective. Some have said that game play on the Sony looks fine to them.

By abuse you mean using it as a regular TV? Can I put on ESPN and watch it 10 hours a day like my $100 4k tv I bought last year? probably not you have to baby it

Watch the Rtings year long Oled burn in tests.
Oleds are NOT for people that watch the same thing ALL THE TIME.
I have a 3 year old 55" and a 5 year old 65" oled tv. They get used daily for watching varied content. They have zero burn in. I don't "baby" them. Lol.
The only time I even think of Oled burn in is when I read one of these threads. 😂😂😂

Are the receipts from GT / verdetoe the location where the tv is being shipped from? (i.e. lg.com or best buy). How does the invoice work? newbie trying to figure out which route to take.
