dumb thing to say and implies mis-information that 'a good' cast iron pan doesn't rust. All iron rusts.

Don't get a cast iron pan unless you have a plan to properly learn to season it.

Don't spread mis info by saying stupid stuff like 'Does this one rust??'
Had mine for about 6 months now. No rust. Properly seasoning your cast iron and always hand drying will eliminate almost any chance of rust. That being said these pans are pretty cheap. I bought them to cook single-portion items and to serve food in an interesting dish.

Cast Iron is a no brainer. Why people are commenting negative?

Yes this. I have an 8 inch one and even that is too small for 90% of things. Mainly use it to cook a pack of sausage links these days.

These 6 inch ones could cook the equivalent of 1 burger at a time, or grill one sandwich.

Agree with poster above that uses to cook a single portion or for a serving dish/plate that is a bit unique.

Get the 10 or 12 inch one if you actually want to cook a meal for more than one person.

It will only rust if you don't take care of it. That is as true for $5 cast iron as it is for $500 cast iron.

Every single bad review either mentions they are too small (because the reviewer did not pay attention to size while purchasing) or that they rusted (because the reviewer couldn't be bothered to care for them properly).

For what they are, this is a decent deal.

Bingo!

Just picked up 4 sets for hosting. I already envision putting to pieces of salmon (or thighs/breast) in the square pan and putting them on grill / open fire etc. Then potatoes in a myriad of ways in the circle pan. so one set to each couple = good times.
