Heads up for Google Fiber users (at least in the Kansas City area). To bypass the fiber box you have to set up VLAN. ID = 2 and Priority = 3. The latest X3600 firmware does not seem to be passing the priority setting correctly. I was seeing 800 up and 10 down. Reverting to the previous firmware took care of it. The X3600 isn't listed on the main download page so here is a link in case anyone needs it

I finally installed my 2nd delco and I have full coverage of 4000sq ft 2 story house and a 1000sq ft garage. The signal now extends all the way into the street and the very end of the backyard. It's been very reliable/stable.
About the parental control it gets the job done. I keep sleep time between 10pm-7am. If my daughter wants more time after 10pm I change the sleep time. I can also disable her device anytime.
The reporting feature is nice and tells me who uses the most data and the most time on the net.
It's a keeper for me.
And of course, I can't view the logs myself since eero owns all that doesn't share. But that's a mistake on my part buying into a locked ecosystem in the first place.
Was thinking of going with the M9 Plus at first, but I figured I might as well upgrade a little in the process.
Edit: since it wasn't mentioned, this is an online only item. not available in store.

Okay thanks, looks like I'll just order
Online only. I checked a few stores and nothing.
Really depends on if you have wifi 6 devices or not. I had the M5 and worked great, but the x3600 does have better coverage and speed. The M9 does perform better than the M5 due to the 3 wireless radios (1 is a dedicated wireless backhaul). I would have purchased the M9 if I was just replacing my M5, but just got the family some iPhone 12s which are wifi 6. So it really depends on if you have wifi 6 devices, since M9 is wifi 5. One other thing, M9 had better Free parental controls and malware blocker. X3600 handicaps the parental control unless you pay for the upgraded parental controls.
It's showing $329.99, but still switches to $269.99 after you add to your cart.
