Today when I got home I let the dogs in the back yard and did a few thing around the house. When I went to let the dogs in they had gotten loose.
I charged out the front door and one dog was sniffing around the front yard. I called him and he ran in the house. I started calling the other dogs and heard car horns honking and then saw my wifes dog running toward me , on the sidewalk, from a block away..
I am thankful I was able to get my dogs back safely. It's rush hour and we live 2 blocks from 2 main streets. I cant imagine losing another animal right now.
I think I thanked god 3 times on the way in the house.

Seems like the teeth cleaning a couple of weeks ago was the opportunity for bacteria to enter as my molars tend to have some bleeding during a cleaning.
Oh fark (yeah typed the real word there) did this hurt after it incubated for a couple of weeks.
Had no clue anything was afoot, and then Saturday night (1/1/22) if felt like I was coming down with a sore throat. Figured it was from a cold bicycle ride that morning.
Sunday it got worse and was borderline unbearable.
Monday am the Dentist checked it and I got an antibiotic and pain meds.
*if you've ever had braces you know what that dull ache comes when they tighten things up and that you can't do anything about and it's relentless...that would be a 2 or 3 on the pain scale IMO. I was hitting 9 and 10.

Halfway though my antibiotics and only two 200mg Advil's are keeping things happy
