Then wait for the Ryzen 7 5800H model to be available which is 8 Core vs 5600H which is 6 core. 5600H is slightly better than Intel's i5-11400H whereas 5800H is equivalent to i7-11800H. However Ryzen processors are far more power efficient which allow them run at full throttle at these thin and light machines and do provide better battery life.

Currently most popular CB sites are running 6% to 8% Cashback on Lenovo sites. So, add that on top of this price.
I did not get one thing why you guys always compare Gaming Laptops with productivity Machines and then come to that same conclusion that Gaming Laptops are better.

And regarding your idea about RTX 3060 and RTX 3050 for content creation, is pretty wrong. That GPU is not their for gaming but for works which can use that. a RTX 3060 offers significant performance advantages over RTX 3050 in any content creation workloads like Video editing in Adobe premiere and after effects, Da Vinci Resolve and rendering applications like Blender and the 6GB video memory helps a lot over there.

New Dell Inspiron 16 Plus, Dell XPS 15 and 17, MSI Creator Series and Prestige Series. How many more example do you want? Apart from that, there plenty of HP ZBook series and Dell Precession Workstations with powerful Gaming GPU but 60 Hz higher resolution Display
Only XPS 17 on that list has a 3060. The rest top out at 3050ti or has 20xx seires card. HP and Dell workstation doesn't even use gaming GPU. They are using A series. So again, high end gaming GPU+60hz screen is still a rarity.

Pretty sure inspiron 16 plus can also have 3060, although low TDP still a 3060

It's a 60 watts 3060. You are not going to pushing higher than 60 fps on newer game with it anyway so the whole 60 hz argument is moot.

Dude, at least check the spec before commenting. The way you simply said all other Laptops apart from XPS 17 does not come with higher end GPU, is simply worng
Dell Inspiron 16 plus comes with up to a RTX 3060 . I have posted the deals of that multiple times here. The thing is these laptops are not targeted towards gamers and that's why they don't provide high refresh rate panel.

And you're confusing Workstation laptops with productivity Laptops. These are nothing but high end productivity Laptops targeted towards users working on designing, Editing and other productivity stuffs, not gaming and for that, you don't really need a Quadro or Radeon Pro GPU with ISV certification.

For HP, they have the HP Envy 15 (Not to be confused with Envy 15 x360) series which was available up to RTX 2060 Max-Q last year and this year refreshed with RTX 3060 low wattage, just like all these other laptops with a lower wattage GPU, with 65W TGP. Inspiron 16 Plus has 65W + 5 W with dynamic Boost and this ThinkBook 16p laptop is also a 75W TGP version, including Dynamic Boost (probably a 65W fixed + 10W with Dynamic Boost). MSI has their Creator 15 and Creator 17 series laptops with GeForce gaming GPUs

The reason for not having high refresh rate panel is not because of the performance of the GPU but the target audience. All of these companies offer different series of Laptops with gaming centric features and a separate series of Premium laptops for productivity oriented customers. If you need gaming, then you have to look for their gaming series.

This is also just a 75w 3060 including dynamic boost. The point is not the TGP but the purpose of the laptop. These are not workstation laptop but productivity machines.

He forgot to mention that this ThinkBook 16p is also a lower 75W TGP RTX 3060, including Dynamic Boost. probably a 65W fixed TGP + up to 10 W with Dynamic Boost. Inspiron 16 Plus has a 60W fixed TGP + 5W with Dynamic Boost and as per various reviews, it can run at 65W all the time, even during combined CPU + GPU Load as that model has a 3-Fan Cooling system compared to the lower spec RTX 3050 and 3050 Ti models with 2 Fan cooling.

Because a 65 or even 75 watts 3060 is in the same boat as lower end GPU like 3050ti. My point is that OEM paring a gaming card that can push higher FPS on a system with 60hz because it's a waste. The same is true other way around, putting a 120hz screen with low end GPU is also a waste.

I just received mine today and out the box with no tinkering the 3060 is doubling the performance of the msi gs66 3050 I tried the other day.

Hard to even think anyone is doubting the value of this 75w 3060 against the ultra low 40-50w 3050/ti builds on here

The screen is 60hz yes. But it has good response time, 400 nits, and Dolby vision(hdr) in. 16:10 creative focused package.

Also as for the "why a 3060 with a 60hz screen?" Argument……there's a reason nvidia has both game and "studio" drivers for you. And that's exactly the niche this laptop is intended for. I can use that 3060 to edit videos, encode, etc or when I'm bored I can still play whatever fodder is in game pass or steam. It had no issues running gears 5 at "over 60" (even if it can't display it) on ultra in its native resolution which is actually higher than 1080
