Might be usual Razer quality control stuff.
Anyhow, at <60 dollars, wireless, brand name, headset otherwise, I think is a good deal.
My daughter uses these and prefers it over logitech 933's and 633 that she has.
At this price and personal use being good, I'm replacing my other kids 933's with this one.
I've had too many problems with the 933's with cut outs and driver problems.
Personally, half my stuff is micro usb and other half is usb c, so I don't necessarily find this to be a big deal yet, but if it was the only peripheral I had like that, would be very annoying.

People whose time spent looking for discounts is worth more than the savings
Found him, boys
This is razer, so most of you kind of know that their quality control isn't as good as other brands. But while the rate of defective product might be very low its higher than others and each negative reviews show increased issues.
That being said, this is a 55 dollar gaming headset that is wireless. If you have a comparable wireless product, please share.
Most of the Christmas and bf deals drop the lower end market into the 50-70 dollar range when on sale . Like the lower end corsairs, Logitechs, Sony brand, etc.
If you can wait, there are other options.
Yes. I use these with ps5
About 2 months ago the left ear cup stopped working, though would work again for a few minutes if I 'smacked it'. I filed an RMA and it was a pain in the entire body. I would get the weirdest questions about Windows Updates, did I drop it, water damage, etc. I had to tell them at least a couple of times that I was on a Mac (which is true since i would mostly use it on the Mac and the issue happened on both Mac and Windows). I once called to try to make the process faster and was told I have to do emails and they can't do anything on the phone.
Anyways eventually they did the RMA and sent me a brand new one and a shipping label. Unfortunately I had to send mine back before they would send me one so I was without a headset for a week or so.
Still would highly recommend.

Bought one for pc and an Xbox version. both had mic issues and even had then exchanged through amazon and the replacements were just as bad.
The Xbox version seems to have a extremely weak mic so people can barely hear you and the PC version has a horrible echo.
wasted days with razor support just to do a exchange via amazon at the end which ultimately also ended with me returning them all.
Got a Plantronics Rig 800 and couldn't be happier.
I have Steelseries wireless pros.
Here is an objective table:

sort for wireless gaming.
Now, if you can find any headset above nari ultrimate, which is at 7.1 that is priced at less than 60 dollars, have at it.
As they say, you get what you pay for. I can't compare this 300+ dollar retail headset to this one obviously.
I'm 100% sure you can find WIRED headsets that are better in general at this price point, but wireless is a bit harder find.
Anyhow, more objective data for other people to decide.
Honestly with something like this, I would get a magnetic charging adapter since you will be near a USB power outlet at your desk anyways. Makes it much easier to charge and it wont matter if you have micro vs USB-C

Problem with 933 is the super short battery life. I settled for 733 at the end.

It's about having to keep one cable instead of two by my computer desk to charge the headset, phone or my switch. It's a first world problem.
