You can use the Logitech software to change your field of view. I set mine to narrow. Gotta run it before starting your web call.
None. It is identical. S just means it comes with a plastic privacy shutter.
If you want one of those, they should be available on amazon for like $6.
Looks like we are almost back to the pre-covid19 price but not there yet(?)

this thing was disappointing for me, not a fan of the wide angle lens… I don't think most people need to get their whole room in view

oh nice, that's helpful - a lot of their software is junk so I didn't bother installing it

Yeah - if it didn't have that feature would've definitely returned myself. But it does add an extra step.

How much of an upgrade over the C920 is this? I've been running one of those for years

Decent webcam. Decent price. The 922 is a bit better at $75-$100. The next bump up is to the Brio class at $150-$200. Or, a PTZ, on hdmi or sdi, starting around $400, up to $2,000. The 920 at $55 is a very good USB cam. For real production, you need hdmi or sdi cams with a hardware video mixer. You can get away with around $2500-$3000 on the bottom end.

My job had this as the standard before we moved to the C930s. I have one at home for family calls - I enjoy it. No diea what the C930s look like but NOBODY has complained about the C920s and many will request one even if they have the stock Latitude webcam (which to me should be sufficient for zoom calls, but I guess folks want to show off their makeup???)

I got this via B&H for $60. Like it a lot. Quality is comparable to iPhone 11 Pro Max rear camera but it renders my room a little dark due to the window coming from behind me and to the side at an angle. You can adjust in zoom but maybe not in Google meet. I give it 4/5

Interesting. Do you have to run it before every call or just once and it remembers narrow from that time forward. Happen to know if it supports narrow for the others -msft teams, Google meets, and Amazon chime?
