Amazon has the same price but props to you OP for pointing out the extra 10% off at Target. Somehow I had missed that.

Combine that with 5% off for RedCard and any accrued Circle savings (we had $5) and this is a fairly slick deal for a non-BF price.

As far as I know this is the latest model, there is no 2021 version. Latest Ultra model is 4800R.

Hey ! anyone gets the HDMI copyright error at random with this player? I've been using an ultra for a while, same cable (monoprice 18Gbps). About a month ago, started seeing the HDMI error. Maybe the unit is going bad, or the cable??

Anyone experience this and has a solution?

I bought a refurbished one on 9/14 from eBay for about ~$42 (vipoutlet; sold out); it works fine for Apple AirPlay, free PBS, and free Roku contents (w/ ads) .

It has a Roku media player channel to playback from an attached USB drive and over the network (DLNA).

I still use my PS3 slim for 1080P video playback (the best remote and playback for AC3/x264/1080p videos).

Edit: My TV is a 1080p Panasonic plasma TV, so not sure about 4K playback.
