I saw them in store for $20s a couple of weeks back. Along with a display unit. Do a favor to yourself and don't buy them. Legs are very flimsy, not stable at all. I was about to buy it till I saw the display unit. Check reviews, legs bend on heating.

Guessing this is in-store deal only. Brickseek is showing me a range of prices between $18 - $42 from 12 different local stores.

The Brickseek price of $18 at two of my local Walmart stores costs $42 online (in-cart). But, Brickseek still shows $18 with 10+ in stock.

Sooo... I assume these must be an in-store deals only. (?)

I was there around 5:30pm. Out of stock. Tried asking a few people but they said they sold out days ago.

This is worth $20, i have it. The paint and texture of the metal has chipped off and it looks super cheap.

Just came back from the store that had them. On a whim I checked to see how much the 30" ones were, since neither barcode would come up on the app. 30" scanned at $24 and change, shelf tag showed $40ish, so I bought a few of those instead.

Got a similar cheap fire pit from Walmart purchased in 2007. After the first time I left it out in the rain, I found it looking more like a bird bath. It would have rusted through, but I dumped the water and grabbed a 1/4 drill and popped a few holes in it. Still have it today.

Not sure if newer models come with drain/weep holes or are made of cheaper materials… but if there are no holes, adding a few will add life to these cheap rust buckets.

As for flaking paint, rustoleum sells a high temp black spray paint at Home Depot for touch ups if you feel inclined to keep it pretty.
