I ordered 13pro. I compared the size of 12 vs 13 and they're the same dimension but side buttons are not lined. Based on youtube review, 13 pro case is different from 12 pro. Side buttons does not lined up (matched) if you use 13 pro case for the 12 pro.

hm.. wondering how fit the case would be if they couldn't even get the name. what's the chances of getting a mold to make the new 13 case?

Just got an email saying that my order is "on hold" as payment could not be processed. Called in to the number provider and spoke to a senile rep that has absolutely no clue about anything. If I was a customer I'd be cancelling absolutely everything right now. But alas I am with ATT Smilie

trying the main line now ... anyone see similar?

I used paypal the first time which was then cancelled Smilie) Then I tried apple pay, and after calling it looks like an older card was used. Just re-ordered for the third time and now it looks ok. Had to use firefox as chrome forced me to login. But now all looks to be good - selected in store pickup. Fingers crossed.

I receive both the cases directly from Otterbox and the iPhone 13 Pro Max tomorrow so I should have an answer then. I think they're the correct cases due to the unique colors such as Happy Purple etc which did not exist in the iPhone 12 Pro Max designed cases. I am just confused as to why they're labeled as 12's

Ordered the iPhone 13 Pro Max Defender XT. Received the case but the box has a sticker that says iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Measured the dimensions of the camera cutout on the case with a caliper: 41.4mm x 42.7. From what I could find the size should fit the 13 Pro Max; the 12 is even smaller. No idea about button alignment. Calling Verizon is like dialing into a blackhole. Well, you'd have a better chance getting a response from a black hole. The SKU sticker on the bottom of the box is 77-85724 which doesn't match the SKU for the case on otterbox.com for either the 12 pro max or 13 pro max cases.

Guess I'll find out if it fits tomorrow.

That sounds about right during the initial release since no one wants to guess the correct name. All of my 2020 boxes say the same "iPhone 2020 LARGE" 😆
