Pair this with the GT Omega Apex stand and the Ricmotech Adapter plate and it's a nice setup.

Stand:

Your mom's a thrustmaster
Logitech's got a 3-pedal setup and also comes with a shifter. Thrustmaster shifter ran me $150. Logitech's wheel also has a few fancy features. FFB usually better on Thrustmaster. When you get the 3-pedal TMX Pro and the $150 shifter, it comes out to be pricier than the logitech package.

I'm trying to decide between this (PlayStation version) and a G29, but i have no idea which one to go with.
I had a Driving Force GT for the PS3, and with Gran Turismo 7 coming out in march I'm in the market for a new wheel. I thought the driving force GT was fine for the 100 bucks it cost but it was also my first/only wheel so i had nothing to compare it to.

I'm aware this is pretty much the lowest offering from thrustmaster, hybrid gear and belt, crappy pedals, all plastic cheap feeling wheel. Is this really better than the G29? Seems that everywhere you look there are contradicting opinions, "The G29 lags, it has a dead zone" "The T150 doesnt respond fast enough, its rubber bandy, its feels like a toy"

Im opting out of the 923 since its over $100 more and is just a glorified G29. The T300 is also wildly expensive right now and not worth 2.5 times the cost. I also have time to spare, potentially for black friday/holiday deals.

Which is really the better wheel? G29 dial motor gear driven, nicer materials, better pedals, or T150 worse materials and pedals, but belt and gear driven although slightly weaker?

Now to find some squishy stuff to plug behind the brake pedal
trust me you will be needing new pedals soon. they suck. I thought about going with the t3pa ones but they are sold out all over the place and hecka inflated. might as well spend 50 more bucks and get the t-lcpm magnetic load cell ones. they are boss. haha. almost double the price of the wheel but you wont drive very well until you get something like this. Fanatec also makes really good ones in the 100 range.

I think I'm ingenious enough to fix the cheapo pedals to give me some resistance.. haven't you tried to plug something in there to make it better?

Assetto Corsa takes some work to get running properly with the wheel but is great. would recommend forza motorsport 7 but they discontinued it recently.

It's not necessary by any means. But if you don't like the squishiness of the brake pedal (it offers zero resistance when pressing it), there are tons of little cheap (and some not so cheap) mods that you can do to make it feel more realistic. Apparently yellow dot squash balls inserted behind the brake pedal work great for these and a lot of people swear by them. Other things people have used are stress balls, strips cut off a yoga block, and glue sticks inserted lengthwise (they're bendy/springy).

Thanks for info, but I heard the peddles were cheap plastic. Are we not afraid that some of these mods will bust the pedals?? Anyone had any luck with any of the "mods"?

Just a lot of fine tuning. I would watch a youtube video and google it. Once you get it working the way you want it though its great.
