here's their dropdown picklist from their warranty claim website of why you need a replacement. as you can see, the transducers rattling is a known issue.

Love mine.

These are hand-washable, last a couple days of moderate use between charges. I've gotten no complaints using the mic for calls.

Listening to podcasts or books while doing housework or other drudgery makes the tasks so much more pleasant. "Oh, I guess I'm finished. Pity there's nothing else to do."

Works lag-free when watching videos on my phone or on Chromecast w/ Google TV. Unfortunately there is lag when using them on the Nintendo Switch (new feature on the latest firmware): about 3/4 of a jump's worth of lag in Super Mario World and Ninja Gaiden.

If you're a sound quality snob you're not using bluetooth headphones anyway. You're using some dac/amp setup huddled over a record player using a set of cans nobody has heard of

Others have added a lot of good points that I had forgotten to mention earlier in the thread, but I want to pipe up again and say that these work awesome with ear plugs. You get a lot more low-frequency representation with earplugs in. Less volume is required for those sitations.

Also, I like the proprietary charger for these because it helps the water resistance. The Aftershokz OpenMoves use USB-C but to me that just sounds like a hole for water to creep in.

Wind noise kills it when cycling fast for the mic. Great for listening though
Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. I've wondered about whether the OpenComm would work with a little foam windscreen.

Does anyone have problem with Sam's shipping? I ordered my OpenComm two saturdays ago and it still hasn't been shipped yet.

The Air I ordered a few weeks back took a while to ship, like 4-5 days but I just ordered the Aeropex last night and it shipped earlier today already.

I love good sound quality - but I love these. I think there's a place for them. I'm actually at the office right now and wearing them (I wear them for most of the work day). They sound good and allow me to continue my conversations while still playing music. I'm actually okay with the proprietary charger ONLY because they included TWO cables in the packaging so I keep one at home and one at work. It's easy to connect with the mag-safe styled charger. My spotify usage has gone way up most likely haha.
One note though. I have an average-sized head and use the "mini" version of these so can't comment on how much larger the normal size are.
Both of these comments are spot on and 100% agree. I have had the very first release and continue to enjoy them for daily use. Wife sometimes gets annoyed that I have them on all the time, but then doesn't complain when I'm driving and getting navigation commands without waking the kids.

Don't get this. The rubber band broke in 3 months after first owning these.

I wear these daily at work. Super comfortable and I sometimes forget to take them off after work. Bonus is that it prevents masks from chafing my ears.

Also these are great for slacking off without appearing you're slacking off. People won't be hesitant of approaching you fearing they might disturb you compared to wireless earbuds. And it won't look like who and who is always wearing earbuds etc. After work I just throw them into my backpack with small 3000mah battery bank and its enough to provide me with 2 months of charge.

I don't like the lack of bass listening to music. For voice call it is OK. It was given as a gift. I wouldn't want to buy this because of the sound quality said.

Thank you, upvoted. Just received mine last Friday and they were quick to offer a price adjustment. I had finally given up on waiting for a better deal, great timing!

These are good when you want to hear things around you and not have your ears plugged completely.

I'm considering this because I own the Aftershokz Trekz Air but am concerned about durability. My first Trekz Air was replaced under warranty just under a year (would not charge - red charger light would come on and faint beeping noise heard). The replacement pair lasted a year and 3 months and this time the right side stopped outputting sound. Normally I wouldn't buy again with this type of experience but Aftershokz is the only open-air headset I know of and I get a lot of use out of it so I might just have to tolerate more quality issues

The sound is okay. The mic works well. They come with a 2yr warranty. The ones I purchases lasted a month.

I have these and love them, but one of the buttons started malfunctioning within a few months. Sent in for RMA and been waiting 3 weeks since delivery.. Contact page is 404, ticket pages Access Denied, RMA not updated at all. Their support needs to wake up.

Anyone use these while cycling? I'm curious about how the mic works for that application, and whether they'd work as an intercom headset for two riders (using a simple voice call as the intercom).
These are excellent while cycling, however the mic on the Aeropex is not the best even in good conditions and I get a lot of complaints. Luckily, there is an almost identical model that comes with a dedicated boom mic that would be perfect for your application (Aftershokz OpenComm).
