They will probably regret not having a different brand name for their kitchen line.

Bought this one last year when it came around and love it. Easy install and still haven't had to change batteries. Works like a champ. Our super hard water causes the holes that spray the water to get clogged on occasion but soaking in citric acid does the trick.

Bought one of these from Costco. Probably at a year and a half on the same set of batteries. Only complaint is that I didn't install it sooner.

Is there any way to have an ac adapter instead of the battery powered? It's a pain to reach and replace the battery every 6 months
FWIW - We're still on our original set of batteries after 2+ years of use

Well, yes there is a manual override valve that you turn to make it act like a normal faucet. But it's not something you can do when guests come over and then turn it back when the leave. Other faucets (like the Moen) don't require that. The manual part works at the same time as the sensor part, without having to turn any valves. That difference might be important to some.
Yeah but Moen brand are only limited to one temperature output. I don't usually have that many people over (definitely not that many new people) so it doesn't take too long for someone to understand how to use it but yeah whatever your preference is

Lol, which faucet has that feature which you are speaking of?
I am generally talking of this technology. not a brand.

It's on sale once a month if not every other week. I paid $120 for a brushed nickel.

I keep waving my hand in front of a regular kitchen faucet like a fool at my in law's.

The other way = loosen it up? I've tried it to the point where it basically starts pouring water out of it because it was so loose.
Do you have the handle opened when you're trying to use the sensor mode? The way it works is you have the handle for the faucet in the position you want (hot, cold, warm position and with the amount of water flow you want). Then you active the sensor to toggle water on/off. If the handle is in the off position, you might hear a click, but no water will flow.

Yeah, I have it on, waved in front of the sensor and it doesn't turn off.

For those who have been using it for a while, have you had issues where the sensor is overly sensitive? When washing stainless steel items, it's constantly turning off and on. It didn't seem to do that previously when I first bought it.
