Best Buy Stores [Store Locator] is hosting their Next-Gen Console In-Store Event and offering limited quantities of next gen consoles (PlayStation 5/Digital Edition & Xbox Series Consoles) at retail/MSRP price at select Best Buys stores valid only on Thursday, September 23, 2021 (Limited tickets will be handed out and will be required for purchase)

How to get a chance at a next-gen console?
  • Blue Shirts employees at participating stores will begin handing out tickets at 7:30 a.m. local time* that morning. They will ask you which console you wish to buy, and hand out one ticket per purchasing customer in line. If you receive a ticket, you will be guaranteed the opportunity to purchase the console for which you have received a ticket. While in the store, you will also be able to buy games or gaming accessories in addition to your console.
Be sure to use the drop down menu to find a participating store in your state and local location

Did a google search for this and logged into their direct website and can't find anywhere to sign up for emails or email invitations. I think this process has expired.

Yep. I'm not an elite member but for sure companies nowdays are no longer interested in taking care of their loyal base. Wouldn't have benefited me in this case but agree that this would have surely made their loyal customers super happy.

It's not a specific email you sign up for, it's just to sign up to get notifications from them. If you're receiving emails from Playstation, you're "entered" already. Selection is supposedly randomly based on your PSN activity and history.

The Best Buy near me is listed as participating, but they don't open until 10am. So do they still give tickets out at 7:30? Then need to stand around for another 2 1/2 hrs before you can go into the store to buy the console?
