"Meaningless" is a relative term. For example....All RGB is meaningless to some, but most actually value it and are willing to pay a little more for it. It doesn't add any performance, but most people find it aesthetically pleasing. These vertical GPU brackets offer the user to display the bottom of their video cards, where sometimes a lot of the RGB is. Or, for people who have spent lots of money on a custom water cooling loop, it allows them to show off the GPU water block. So, it has its place for some people. This particular model doesn't seem to be the best model out there.
