The two months I had visible I was all over the Midwest, Chicago , OH, etc and it was trash every where I went. The way it was described to me is when you phone hits a new tower you are put at the absolute bottom of the list. As people drop off, you might make your way up higher. In really crowded areas that might not happen for hours, if ever. Also took a trip down to Florida during that time and it was awful down there too. I mean early 2000s TMobile awful. Not just data, texts wouldnt send, phone calls would hang or disconnect (all with decent signal). I haven't been hunting for wifi since I had TMobile so long ago.

Other than the service, I found visible a pretty nice company to work with. Easy to port in, easy to port out. Got my 200 GC no problem. Minor issues I ran into they were able to fix.

Is that how it works with all of these third party providers? Like the Spectrum or Xfinity Mobiles of the world also do the same or are there different priorities?

Once the phone is unlocked by Visible, are there any differences between it and an unlocked phone bought directly from Apple?

Can you pls share the link to get the referral code from reddit? - TIA

Great deal, just nabbed an iPhone 13 Pro. Ended up being $1033 after tax (cheaper than my $1083 order with Apple, which I'll be returning). Service was $5 for the 1st month with a referral code off reddit, plus another $15 cb with raku10.

I do wonder if I can just refer myself in the future months by porting in free Google Voice numbers as new lines (which would lower service costs down to $10 / month)?

Btw I ported in a Ting number that I bought the night before, couple things worth mentioning -

- As others have mentioned, you can grab a $1 Ting sim at target/BB that comes with $30 service included, so it's basically free (and cheaper than the $5 freedompop). Stock may be an issue though - my local BestBuy had one left and cancelled my pickup order because they couldn't locate it. Target had two left, and I picked up the last two.

- After you activate with Ting, you can port out immediately. However, the help center article about finding the port out info online was not accurate, at least for my account. There simply was no "Port Out Info" link under my Account Settings. Not sure if this is the case for everyone, or they've just disabled it for new accounts, but I had to message their Live Chat. I did this at 10pm last night, so it took ~30 minutes to get connected to someone, who confirmed that this information is not available to me online, only via chat. No issues getting the info from her though, actual convo took only a couple mins

So all in all, after factoring in the $200 GC and the homepod mini (I value at ~$50), it'll be ~$800 all in, including service for 3 months. Not bad for a day one deal without locking into a 24 month contract with one of the big carriers.

I could never get a straight answer but when it comes to unlimited plans, they might be tiered differently but essentially, yes similar. The issue with visible though is when I was using it (3 months back), they had two gateways for their network. Making pings all over the place. So it was a lot of: Click on a link and wait a couple seconds. Then the data might "kick in". I had to constantly be checking my phone to make sure I had a connection or I would miss emails or text. I think this issue is only with Visible. They seem to be having issues where your phone will just straight up disconnect from the network and the only way to fix is to reboot your phone. I swear it was a coin flip if my phone would work when I left the house (away from Wifi). I had 5 lines I ported from Cricket to Visible and we all had these issues. Two of the lines are full time in FL.

Other services (I've heard) do not have the latency issue with the gateways so they probably "seem" better. Now I did hear that Xfinity's tier plans (like 10GB a month) do not have the same issue in regard to deprioritization.

And to anyone that says every MVNO faces deprioritization, that's probably true. I just know with Cricket, I think I have ever felt the deprioritization twice and it could have been a phone issue, as my wife's phone was fine. Both times at or around Disney in FL. Even then it worked a couple minutes later.

This isn't third-party. Visible is run by Verizon.

How? I ordered 7 hours ago and didn't even get a confirmation mail yet. Order status just shows ordered.

Where do you see the delivery estimate? Is yours shipped already?

In my experience and area (big los angeles), visible mobile network or phone signal is weak even it is Verizon MVNO.

I don't know why? Before I had Veizon service. Frankly speaking, Verizon is best than ATT and Tmobile those I ever used, But finally still port out to use cheap ok T-mobile bcos too expensive.

I did get some visible deals before and just keep # to get for bonus.

I think the iPhone 12 for $600 with a $200 VGC is a better deal than the iPhone 13.
